Well Wackers, now that Spring has sprung it means that the famed Ocktøberfest is just around the corner.
Ahhh, that time of Bavarian Brew, Om Pa Pah music and German sausages.
And a time to remember our beloved Uli Octoberfest who has now been back in his native Germany for over 18 months.
Who could ever forget Uli's last match on centre court when he and Sergi Von Coachalot lowered the colours of The Man Mountain and The Master Blaster in a display of inspired tennis never before witnessed at the Wackerthon. I recall as if it was yesterday the emotional moment when he was lofted on shoulders and carried off the court lined by a Wacker guard of honour, to cheers of the Octoberfest chant, 'Prost, Prost, Prost.'

Ok, so we need to set the date for the 2006 Octoberfest.
How about Wednesday October the 18th?
German fare and bring your own Bavarian Brew.
Let's doing something out of the ordinary and run a mini tournament, team up in nationalities or genré and play 15 point tiebreakers, winners to recieve a Larrisa photo.
Open to all suggestions, come on Wackers, dont be shy.

Please reply with your choice of partner or run the risk of being paired up be me
We can get more teams in if we play 2 divisions, round robin 15 point tie breaks. Edwardo can run the tournament.

Ignoring all the mindless slander, the Oc-fest sounds great. Leave the ball toss to arrrange the music and perhaps master can pick up 2 bitburger kegs. Speak to Guenther about sausages (or Swiss Cheese) too. There is a great shot of the Yuppie and I with a beaute of a German waitress from the Lowenbrau Keller,which he should post too! The Oktoberfest Cup will take place on Wednesday Evening the 24th of October

On the contrary, I couldn't see the full picture till I'd drunk that tankard. Before that she was ugly. Still, we could invite her down to the Wackers, if we sweettalk Reinhardt on Tues night. I'm sure there would be plenty of wackers lining up to de-tulip her as an initiation. Speaking of the manager of the Keller, we should get some tips on German sausages for the O-fest. He will have something even more hearty than the pink old doogy's knobs. Reinhard also has a deal with his own company's beer, of course. We will pursue this on Tues. I will also bring some oom-who's your papa music if you need.
